Back on Saturday afternoon, Sega announced the remaster of all Shenmue I & II for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, while also releasing a small batch of screenshots from the North American office. The Japanese arm of the book followed with its screenshots, today.
The images reveal the improved image quality that compels against the resolution up to 1080p, making the game seem better on platforms. We get to see the iconic noodle race, some fighting, the Taste Grocery in Hong Kong, along with a couple of cutscenes.
Besides the improved graphics, Shenmue I & II will contain both Japanese and English music, visual choices in PC, optimized UI, and a choice of control schemes between modern and classic.
You can delight in the screenshots below. If you would like to find out further, you can also watch the very first trailer, and you should listen to the latest episode of the DualShockers’ Weebcast, where Emily and I speak poetry and a few concerns about this massively expected return of a legend.
Shenmue I & II will start for PS4, Xbox One, and PC this year. It will be a exclusive.
