Mega Man Inspired Roguelike 20XX is Coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this July

20XX, that a platformer-roguelike inspired by classic Mega Man names, officially launched on PC after a stint in Early Access last August. Now, programmers Batterystaple Games and Fire Hose Games declared the title would eventually be hitting consoles, specifically PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this July.

Though the PS4 and Nintendo Switch variations of the game launching on July 10, Xbox One players will need to wait till July 11 to receive their hands on the name. These consoles versions of 20XX will also have the Hawk DLC Pack, which included a third playable character. As stated by the programmers, the game has sold therefore it makes sense that they would want to expand their horizons to incorporate consoles.

For those who don’t know, 20XX’s gameplay is rather similar to this Mega Man titles in its core, but spices up things with procedurally made stages to test players skills and perhaps even online multiplayer. Chris King, the Creator of Batterystaple Games, had the following to say concerning bringing 20XX consoles:

20XX is a union of timeless action platformer gameplay with contemporary roguelike design. The project was such an unbelievable success for our team on PC and we can not wait to attract console players to the fold once it launches in July. ”
