Yakuza 3 PS4 Remaster Gets First Trailer and Direct Feed Screenshots Showing Improved Graphics.

PS4

Sega just released the first preview of its upcoming PS4 remaster of this PS3 classic Yakuza 3.

The trailer gives a great perspective on the game, allowing us grab a glimpse on the improved images that can allow Yakuza 3 shine on Sony’s more recent console.

We get to see both the cutscenes and gameplay, contrary to the familiar combating action to all those minigames who  Yakuza enthusiasts know and love.

In addition to the preview, we also get the first direct-feed screenshots, and also the vital art, revealing a substantially younger Kazuma Kiryu (at least in comparison to Yakuza 6).

The game will operate at 1080p resolution and 60 frames-per-second (the original ran at 720p, 30 FPS), and it’ll launch in Japan on August 9th, followed by Yakuza 4 in the autumn and Yakuza 5 next spring.

Incidentally, we understand that the Yakuza series has shipped more than ten million units globally, which is quite an achievement.

You can check all of them out below.   If you’re not familiar with the series, you can also read our review of its latest releaseYakuza 6: The Song of Life. It is possible to  catch a copy on Amazon. If you already have the last chapter of Kazuma Kiryu Adventures, then  it is possible to pre-order Kiwami 2.
