VR arcade-shooter Archangel’s multiplayer update, titled Archangel: Hellfire, was declared last month by programmer Skydance Interactive. While the full update won’t arrive till next month, people that already have the game could get a taste of multiplayer via Archangel: Hellfire Early Access Fight Training, which started today.
This Early Access version of Archangel: Hellfire is currently available on both Steam and also the Oculus Store to people who already own the base game. While the final version of Archangel: Hellfire will comprise three maps along with a cooperative PvE mode, only two maps, the Genesis Facility and Collins Base, and also the 2v2 Team Deathmatch mode can be found in Early Access Fight Coaching.
Outside the new modes and maps, this upgrade adds six new mechs, which all have unique abilities and are split between three categories. On the technical aspect of objects, controls have also been slightly tweaked to make fight flow simpler.
Take a look at some brand new screenshots and the first official gameplay trailer to the expansion beneath. On June 28, Archangel: Hellfire will start on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, although owners of this base game can try out the Historical Access Battle Coaching now. This article was originally published by DualShockers.
