NieR: Automata — Yoko Taro & Friends’ Hilarious Message to Xbox One Fans; Joke (?) About Switch Port

Switch, Xbox One

With the Xbox One version of NieR: Automata coming soon, Square Enix broadcasted today a concept for enthusiastic fans of this game on the Microsoft platform.

The video starred Director Yoko Taro, Producer Yosuke Saito, and designer Takahisa Taura since they commented on the upcoming Xbox One release, and on the simple fact that the game has sold three million copies worldwide.

Things begin with the apology regarding the fact that the Xbox One variant took so long to create, however if Yoko Taro is involved, inevitably things turn into shenanigans.

Ultimately, they begin joking about Nintendo Switch version, however we’re talking about Yoko Taro here, therefore were they really joking? I’ll allow you to interpret that however you desire.

You can check out the video below. If you would like to see more, you can also enjoy the official preview for the Xbox One version.  If you are not familiar with the game, you may have a look at my review of the PS4 version.
