From its original release in 2013, The Last of Us had lots of claiming it had been an instant classic as a result of its unbelievable sense of storytelling and gritty, impactful gameplay, and five years after its launch, Naughty Dog has revealed it’s had quite the sales achievement in the decades since.
Over on the studio’s official Twitter accounts, Naughty Dog revealed that as of April 2018, The Last of Us has sold over 17 million copies worldwide since its debut in 2013, which (probably ) comprises sales accounting to the first PS3 name and The Last of Us Remastered, which debuted on PS4 the year after.
Considering that the game’s impressive achievement up to now, it’s no surprise that we’re going to find a followup to the game at the form of The Last of Us Part II, which watched a comprehensive new demo at E3 2018 including gameplay, also tons of fresh details regarding the upcoming game have been shown by this studio.
