Warriors Orochi 4 Receives Western Release Dates and More Gameplay Details

While we’ve understood Koei Tecmo and Omega Force were planning on releasing Musou crossover game Warriors Orochi 4 from the west for a while the game has been without a western release date until today.

The Japanese version of the game is not able to arrive at just a couple weeks earlier on September 27. After Warriors Orochi 4’s look at E3, the developers also divulged more information about gameplay features, including the brand new magical system and return of split display co-op.

Warriors Orochi 4 will include 170 playable characters, with many of these pulled from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series. To assist each character stand out, brand new Magic skills are added to the game. These attacks are both visually striking and powerful, and are powered by mysterious Holy Treasures gifted to every warrior.

When it comes to co-op, two players may choose teams of 3 characters and battle hordes of enemies in a lot of the game’so degrees. Players will also be able to connect together their magic attacks to make some truly devastating strikes.
