Both of Playdead’s beloved games Limbo and Inside have rolled out onto every platform imaginable in the years after each of their releases, even though one recently released console has still eluded each title. In other words, till next week.
Playdead declared today both Limbo along with Inside will be arriving a week on June 28 for the Nintendo Switch. The statement was made via Playdead’s Twitter account where they confirmed the release of both names on Switch is going to be worldwide. Inside was verified to be coming to Switch last year but in the time no launch window was granted. Now, we definitely have a window.
Limbo initially released on the Xbox 360 in 2010 and afterwards arrived at PC, PS3, also iOS before afterwards making its way to present generation platforms like PS4 and Xbox One. The advent of each game coming to Switch has now ensured both Limbo along with Inside are easily available on nearly every platform, which means there’so no reason to overlook playing both of these gems.
If you’ve never checked out title, then be sure to go read our previous reviews of Limbo and Inside. Currently, Playdead is hard at work on their followup into Inside but no specifics besides a lone teaser picture have been shown just yet. Hopefully, we know more about just what this mysterious game could be sooner rather than later.
