One Piece World Seeker is going to deliver the open-world gameplay style to the popular anime series, and now today I got to have a look at the game myself on PS4.
To be honest, the world wasn’t open in the demo, as everything besides a small area was locked out. On the flip side, I was able to try out a lot of battle gameplay and just a boss battle against Sakazuki, A.K.A. Admiral Akainu.
The combat works pretty well, but it was hindered in the demo by the absence of a lock-on attribute. That said I’ve already been told that it’s coming.
Interestinglythere are two stances readily available, with entirely different motions. Even defense maneuvers change as you includes a block along with others a dodge.
If you want to see for yourself what the game seems just like it is possible to delight in the video below. If you want to view more, you can also delight in a trailer from earlier today.
One Piece: World Seeker will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in 2018, and you’ll be able to pre-order it on Amazon.
